Some people find their calling late. I found mine twice.
Before diving, I spent years in law — not just practising it, but mentoring the next generation of lawyers, law clerks, and auditors. Teaching, coaching, and bringing people forward was always the part I loved most.
When I swapped the Criminal Courts for the Red Sea, that didn't change. It just found a better home. As a PADI Course Director, my mission is the same it has always been: develop people, not just certify them. I train my candidates to become instructors who truly love their work — enthusiastic with their students, humble about their responsibilities, and proud of the profession they're joining. Your IDC with me is not a box to tick. It's the start of your career, done right.

Circle Divers Dahab opened 2018. Aside from the main tourist hustle and bustle, it is an extremely chilled place. Located at the Lagoona Area, Circle Divers is close to the beautiful dive sites south of Dahab, but only a short taxi ride away from the epicenter. Circle Divers also operates a busy dive center in Sharm el Sheikh so you can get the best of diving in South Sinai from one operation.
The beautiful facility has an air-conditioned classroom and a house reef just outside the door. We don't lose time on logistics but can go straight from the classroom to the water to practice what we learned.
There are dive destinations, and then there is Dahab.
It moves slower here. The mornings start at the water's edge, the afternoons drift between dives and strong coffee, and the evenings belong to whoever you met that day. And you will meet everyone — instructors, freedivers, and wanderers from every corner of the world have made Dahab their home. Few places on earth are this naturally international.
When the sun goes down, you'll find yourself on a waterfront cushion, cold beer in hand, watching the lights of Saudi Arabia flicker across the Gulf of Aqaba. The Sinai mountains behind you, another country in front of you, and good people all around.
Doing your IDC in Dahab means the training happens inside a life worth living. That stays with you long after the certification does.
